DUSHANBE, November 20, Asia-Plus  -- Nokia Corporation has introduced Tajik language into menu of its cell phones, Furqat Umarov, a specialist with the development department of the limited liability company ARZON Mobile.

According to him, presence of the Tajik language in the Nokia menu will serve as guarantee that the cell phone is original, produced for Tajikistan and will have 12-month free backup service.  It is also guarantee that the phone was delivered to the country legally.

Umarov noted that work on introduction of the Tajik language into Nokia menu had lasted for more than a year.  The first cell phones with Tajik menu – Nokia 1200 and Nokia 1208 -- came into the market during festivities dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the 16th session of Tajikistan’s Shuroi Oli (Supreme Council) that were held in the country at the end of last week.  They cost 210 somonis (equivalent to $65), the specialist said.
