DUSHANBE, February 2, Asia-Plus -- Abdusamad Mahmadkarimov has been removed from his position as editor-in-chief of Minbari Khalq (Tribune of People), a mouthpiece of ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDPT).
The source at the PDPT Central Committee said that President Emomali Rahmon, who is the chairman of the party, made a decision on dismissing the Minbari Khalq editor on February 1.
We will recall that Mahmadkarimov was appointed the editor-in-chief of Minbari Khalq only little more than five months ago, on August 14, 2007dditro
The source added that candidate for the position of editor-in-chief of Minbari Khalq is still unknown.
