DUSHANBE, Febraury 29, Asia-Plus -- The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) intends to plant 8 million trees this year, according to a MoA.
According to the MoA press service, they have to date prepared 5.8 million seedlings for planting.
Last year, 13.8 trees were planted in the country.
The national gardening and viticulture development support program designed for 2007-2010 provides for laying out 1,476 hectares of orchards and 576 hectares of vineyards by 2010.
