DUSHANBE, March 3, Asia-Plus – Russian First Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is still winning by a landslide the Russian presidential election as 94.4 percent of the ballot papers are counted as of 06:00, Moscow time, Monday.

According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the results are the following:

Dmitry Medvedev (nominated by the United Russia Party) - 70.1 percent;

Gennady Zyuganov (leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, CPRF) - 17.9 percent;

Vladimir Zhirinovsky (leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, LDPR) - 9.4 percent;

Andrei Bogdanov (self-nominated leader of the Democratic party of Russia)- 1.3 percent.
