KULOB, April 12, Asia-Plus -- The first spring job vacancies fair opened in Kulob today.
All ministries and organizations have offered more than 320 vacancies at the fair, while only 69 people in the Kulob region currently have status of unemployed.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Rustam Masaidov, the deputy head of the Kulob agency for employment and social protection, such events are organized to arrange meetings of potential employers with unemployed people.
Potential employees are mostly interested in vacancies of electricians and power engineering specialists because wages offered by employers fluctuate from 240 ($70) to 320 somonis (more than $93).
In the meantime, medical facilities are ready to pay to skilled pediatrician or therapist only 27 somonis (equivalent to some $8) per month.
