DUSHANBE, May 15, Asia-Plus -- A session of the Consultative Council of the “Labor Migration in Central Asia” Program was held at the Information and Resource center for Labor Migrants in Dushanbe yesterday.
Ms. Irina Umarova, media assistance, the Information and Resource center for Labor Migrants, told Asia-Plus that the meeting had brought together representatives from President’s Executive Office, International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) Mission in Tajikistan, Interior Ministry’s Migration Service, as well as information and resource centers of Khujand, Kulob and Rasht, and media.
The meeting participants considered the report on the “Labor Migration in Central Asia” project and discussed further plans on implementation of the project, according to her.
The session of the Consultative Council is held each six months meeting under financial support of the European Union to discuss the results of work carried out on the project.
