DUSHANBE, May 28, Asia-Plus  -- A working meeting of senior representatives of the Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA) with representatives of Uzbekistan’s National Drug Control Center, National Security Service and Ministry of Interior was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on May 27.

According to the DCA press service, state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries in combating drug trafficking were a focus of the meeting. 

 The sides agreed to exchange information about transnational organized drug-trafficking groups, intensify interaction in borer areas, as well as carry out joint operations cooperation, provide assistance with detention of drug dealers and consider issue of working draft interagency cooperation agreements.

The meeting resulted in signing of an appropriate protocol, the DCA press service said.
