DUSHANBE, June 11, Asia-Plus -- An official visit of Tajik Health Minister Nusratullo Salimov to Egypt has resulted in signing of a memorandum of cooperation, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).
We will recall that Health Minister Nusratullo Salimov was in Cairo, Egypt from June 2 to June 7 for a weeklong series of discussions with Egyptian health authorities on how to expand bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Egypt in the field of health care.
During his stay in Egypt, Salimov conducted negotiations with representatives of the Egyptian Company Delta Pharma about launching a joint pharmaceutical enterprise in Tajikistan.
On June 6, Nusratullo Salimov and his Egyptian counterpart, Health Minister Hatem al Gabali, signed a memorandum of cooperation between Tajikistan and Egypt in the sphere of health care reforms, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infection and other diseases and training medical specialists.
