DUSHANBE, June 17, Asia-Plus -- A working group of Russian president’s protocol service, led by Ms. Svetlana Yevesyeva, the deputy head of the protocol service, is currently in Tajikistan to prepare the upcoming official visit of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to Tajikistan, according to the Russian Embassy in Dushanbe.
Medvedev’s visit to Dushanbe is scheduled for August, and members of the working group have already visited sites where official events will be held both during President Medevedev’s visit and a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that will be held in the Tajik capital in August as well, the source at the Russian Embassy said.
Today, the working group members are scheduled to visit the site for construction of the Sangtuda-1 hydropower plant and the space-surveillance center in Norak.
