DUSHANBE, July 15, 2008, Asia-Plus -- A two day meeting of experts from the CIS states opened in Minsk, Belarus to coordinate a draft agreement on the procedure of recognition of documents for training and certification of the industry safety specialists, Ms. Maria Gutsalo, a spokeswoman for the CIS Interstate Committee, said.
According to her, the draft agreement was worked out by the Ukrainian State Committee for Industry Safety and Mining Supervision and endorsed by the session of the Interstate Committee for Industry Safety in August 2007.
After coordination, the document will be submitted for consideration to the council of the CIS heads of government, the spokeswoman said.
