DUSHANBE, July 16, 2008, Asia-Plus -- A round table meeting to discuss a draft code of professional ethics for Tajik journalists will be held in Dushanbe on July 18.
According to the pubic association Ittiloot va Muoshirat (Information and Communication), which is one of co-organizers of the meeting, a draft oath for journalists will also be discussed at the meeting.
The meeting is staged by Ittiloot va Muoshirat in cooperation with the MFA information department.
We will recall that a two-day training seminar entitled “Journalists’ Ethic Code: International Standards and Problems of Professional Ethics in Tajikistan” was held in Dushanbe last February.
