According to him, practically only Tajik builders were involved in construction of the hotel.

“52 investment projects for a total amount of $5.1 billion are currently implemented in Tajikistan and mainly Tajik specialists are involved in implementation of them,” said Hamraliyev, “For example, Tajiks constitute more than 70 percent of specialist involved in rehabilitation of the Dusahnbe-Chanak highway.”

We will recall that the company “Russkiye Oteli” (Russian Hotels) has invested in the construction of the Dushanbe Hyatt Regency Hotel and its affiliate – the limited liability company “Sozidaniye” – has acted as contractor.  The general contractor for this project is “ENKA Insaat Ve Sanayi A.Sh.”

The work on the hotel began in summer 2005.  The architectural concept has been worked out by the NBBJ company.  The construction of the hotel officially commenced on March 1, 2006.

The hotel’s infrastructure includes 12-story building with 218 rooms, business center, conference chamber for 200 people, negotiation rooms, fitness-center, entertainment complex and three restaurants.

The company “Russkiye Oteli” was founded in September 2004 for managing investment projects on the commercial real estate market.  Over the past period, the company has implemented a number of investment projects in Yerevan (Armenia), Tbilisi (Georgia), Novosibirsk, Abakan and Sochi.

An operational management of the hotel will be conducted by the international corporation Hyatt – international operator, under brand of which 215 hotels function in 44 countries across the world.
