DUSHANBE, August 20, 2008, Asia-Plus -- A three-day seminar on detecting precursors was launched at the Institute for Further Training of Customs Officers on August 19, according to press service of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) .
The seminar participants are being trained in detecting precursors and are studying types of precursors, the press service said.
The training is conducted under financial support of the UN office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and officers from the counternarcotics agency and the Ministry of Interior’s department for combating drug trafficking (drug police) are acting as trainers. The seminar will last until August 22.
