DUSHANBE, September 12, 2008, Asia-Plus -- An organizational meeting of the Conference of Heads of the CIS Working Structures for Cooperation in Preventing Crime has been held in Moscow.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Ms. Mari Gutsalo, a spokeswoman for the CIS Executive Committee, said that the meeting is considering draft regulations on the Conference and the Plan of its work for 2008-2009.
According to her, the Plan has been worked in line with the provisions of Concept for further development of the CIS and the Plan of main events on implementation of the Concept, the Interstate Program of joint crime-prevention measures for 2008-2010, as well as the Resolution of the Coordination Conference of Heads of the CIS Power-Wielding Agencies of April 26, 2007.
