DUSHANBE, September 23, Asia-Plus -- Four officers of the border unit deployed in Khatlon’s Hamadoni district have detained on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.
According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), operation carried out by police officers in the Hamadoni district on September 22 led to the arrest of four officer of border unit 2133 deployed in the district. More than 17 kilograms of marijuana and more than 8 kilograms of raw opium were confiscated from them.
The source at a MoI refrained from disclosing their names “in the interest of investigation.”
