KHUJAND, September 23, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The Tajik state unitary enterprise Zarya Vostoka and Perm’s (Russia) gunpowder works named after Kirov have signed a protocol of intention on establishment of the joint venture for producing goods of civil and defense designation, Asia-Plus has learned from Taboshar mayor Zufar Ismoilov.
According to him, the document was inked in Tabosahr, Sughd province on September 19. “The document provides for establishment of the joint venture Tobon that is expected to manufacture home appliances as well as products of military-technical designation,” the mayor said, noting that the document was signed on the instruction of the Tajik-Russian economic commission that was held in Moscow on August 18 this year.
