DUSHANBE, November 20, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Customs Service chief Gurez Zaripov is taking part at the 48th session of the council of the CIS customs service chiefs that opened in St. Petersburg on November 19.
During three days, the meeting participants are discussing a broad range of issues related to legal foundation of the customs cooperation within the CIS area, according to the Customs Service press service.
“The session is discussing the issue of creation of the common information system for customs services of the CIS states and expected to result in signing of a number of important cooperation documents, including the protocol on exchange of the preliminary information about commodities and transport means proceedings via the CIS customs borders,” the source said.
