DUSHANBE, November 21, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The first edition of a private magazine on labor migration problems, Migrant_tj , has been brought out in Tajikistan.
According to the magazine founder, Rahmon Ulmasov, Migrant_tj is dedicated to help the state institutions find optimal ways of tackling problems facing migrants as well as assist to make life easier for migrant workers.
The first edition of the magazine contains materials under the headings of “Unemployment”, “Special Reporting”, “Voice of Tajikistan”, “Window to Russia”, “Gender and Migration”, “Overseas”, “Migrant’s Compass”, “Labor Market”, etc.
Migrant_tj also familiarizes readers with migration laws in Russia and other countries of destination as well as publishes statistical data on different aspects of labor migration.
The first edition having circulation of 1,200 has been published at the Dushanbe printing plant.
