DUSHANBE, December 2, 2008, Asia-Plus-- The state unitary enterprise, Tojikniholparvar (seedling-growing enterprise), has stocked more than 745,000 seedlings for planting in the country next spring, according to the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA).
The source at a MoA said that Tojikniholparvar had its branches in 13 districts across the country. “They have grown 449,000 seedlings of fruit trees, 136,200 grape seedlings, 59,200 mulberry seedlings and more than 100,000 seedlings of decorative trees,” the source said, noting that Tojikniholparvar grows on average 1.5-1.7 million seedlings of various fruit trees per year.
Established in 1973, Tojikniholparvar is a self-financing sub-division of the MoA.
