DUSHANBE, December 9, 2008, Asia-Plus -- An expert group has gathered in Minsk, Belarus today for a two-day meeting to coordinate a draft agreement on exchange of information on prevention of crime within the CIS area, Asia-Plus has learned from Ms. Maria Gutsalo, a spokeswoman for the CIS Executive Committee.
According to her, the document provides for exchange of scientific-technical and informational-analytical materials as well as legal documents on the crime-prevention affairs between the CIS states.
The information exchange cooperation will be carried out in accordance with laws of the CIS states and their international obligations, the spokeswoman said.
