DUSHANBE, Febraury 6, 2009, Asia-Plus – The exchange rate of the dollar against the somoni is gradually decreasing.
In Dushanbe, the exchange rate of the dollar against the somoni in currency exchange offices has decreased from 3.92 to 3.95 somoni per 1.00 dollar on February 5 to 3.88 to 3.85 somoni per 1.00 dollar.
According to press center of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT), central bank is continuing to take measures to ensure further stabilization of the somoni’s rate.
