DUSHANBE, March 20, 2009, Asia-Plus  -- The government has endorsed the horse-breeding development program for 2010-2015 worked out by the ministry of agriculture (MoA), according to the MoA press service.

Financing of this program dedicated to promote rehabilitation of the horse-breeding sector in the country will start next year and 300,000 to 500,000 somoni are expected to be allocated from the national budget every year for implementation of the program.

According to a MoA, eight stud with a total number of 77,000 horses currently now functions in the country.
