DUSHANBE, April 14, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) has overfulfilled the target for the first three months of this year by 754,000 somoni, which is some 77,000 somoni, or 10.2 percent, more than it was originally planned, the CCI head Sharif Said announced at a press conference in Dushanbe on April 13.
According to him, the CCI has issued 2,869 certificates of quality and examination as well as 20 licenses over the report period.
In January-march this year, the CCI has sent appeals for mutually beneficial cooperation on implementation of projects in Tajikistan to business communities in 185 countries of the world.
A number of business forums have been held during visits to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Belgium over the same three-month period and cooperation agreements with CCIs of these countries have been signed, Sharif Said said.
