DUSHANBE, April 15, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan Annual Education Fair, staged by the Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF-Tajikistan) in partnership with Ministry of Education (MoE), will be held at the Vefa-Center in Dushanbe on April 16.
According to the OSI/AF-Tajikistan, the fair will present education programs of diplomatic missions, international organizations and some foreign universities. Representatives from these organizations will conduct consultations on education systems abroad, rules of preparation of documents and passing tests, as well as terms of getting financial support for studying.
In 2008 alone, some 3,000 people visited the fair to learn more about educational opportunities provided by international education organizations.
Taking place for the 8th time the education fair will also take place in Khujand (April 21), Kulob (April 24) and Qurghon Teppa (April 25), and Khorog (April 30).
The aim of the Tajikistan Annual Education Fair is to inform potential students about their opportunities to study abroad and at the same time to introduce market opportunities in the Tajikistan to education providers, such as Universities, Colleges and Language Schools. It provides the opportunity for the promotion of quality education providers and the enrolment of students from Tajikistan.
