DUSHANBE, June 22, 2009, Asia-Plus -- A new computer class provided with all necessary equipment was opened in the head building of Tajik Agriculture University in Dushanbe at the end of last week.
Minister of Agriculture Qosim Qosimov attended the opening ceremony of the computer class. After the class-opening ceremony, the minister held a meeting with graduate students at Tajik Agriculture.
Speaking at the meeting, Qosimov noted that further development of the country’s agrarian sector depended on skilled specialists and pointed to the necessity of expansion of scientific-practical cooperation between Tajik Agriculture University and research centers of the Ministry of Agriculture,
During the meeting, it was noted that the university has turned out some 35,000 specialists so far and 718 students have graduated from the university this year.
