DUSHANBE, September 2, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Dushanbe yesterday night.
Today, he will attend the third quadrilateral summit of Tajikistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Russian Federation.
Upon the completion of the quadripartite meeting, an official meeting of President Medvedev to Tajikistan will begin.
Negotiations between Tajikistan and Russia at the highest level are expected to result in signing of three cooperation documents, including a three-year economic cooperation program and an agreement on border cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.
Tomorrow, a CIS summit will take place in Dushanbe. The meeting will bring together heads of state from all the CIS member nations, except Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. These countries will be represented by prime ministers at the summit.
