KULOB, September 2, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The Faculty of Tajik Language and Literature at Kulob State University has been reorganized into the Faculty of Tajik Philology and Journalism.
According to the dean’s office, 19 students, including 14 girls, are currently studying journalism at Kulob State University.
In the meantime, six-month practical course for 14 local young journalists concluded at the Kulob newspaper Pazhvok a week ago. The project has been supported by the Urban Institute (UI) Tajikistan with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
