KHUJAND, September 15, 2009, Asia-Plus -- 12 of 16 cotton-ginning factories in the Sughd province have already been made ready for receiving raw cotton, while the remaining four cotton ginneries require major repairs, Otabek Hojiyev, a chief specialist at the procurement department within the Sughd agriculture directorate, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
