KHUJAND, September 26, Asia-Plus -- Another two microfinance organization have been opened in the Sughd province – Matin and Hamdasti, bringing the total number of microfinance organizations operating in the area to 29, Asia-Plus has learned at the branch of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) in Khujand.
Headquartered in Khujand, Matin and Hamdasti have got licenses for opening currency and other accounts, attract deposits and provide loans.
Investors of these organizations and volumes of funds these organization can operate are not disclosed “for commercial reasons,” the source said.
