The enterprise produces masonry units and natural stone units
We will recall that last April, Aura of Sughd applied to the Ministry of Energy and Industries (MoEI) for license for development of the second natural stone deposit in the Isfara district. Vladimir Chernolutsky, the head of the representative office of Germany’s Diplomatik Bau Engineering und Organisation LTD (phonetically spelled) in Tajikistan, said in an interview with Asia-Plus last April that they developed the natural stone deposit Arabskoye in Isfara completely and they are now waiting for the license for development of the second natural stone deposit, Karatek, which is located some 15 kilometers from the quarry Arabskoye.
As it had been reported earlier, the enterprise produced the test consignment of natural stone units in September 2008. The units were produced from stones extracted from the quarry Arabskoye.
The enterprise was launched in 2008. The main shareholder of the enterprise is the German company Diplomatik Bau Engineering und Organisation LTD, which assumes the 80 percent ownership interest in Aura of Sughd, Tajikistan’s CJSC Fanon Bank owns 5 percent of the shares and the private individuals from Tajikistan own 15 percent of the shares in the enterprise.
