DUSHANBE, November 16, 2009, Asia-Plus - An extraordinary meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education (MoE) that was held in Dushanbe on November 14 resulted in an adoption an appeal over construction of the Roghun hydroelectric power plant (HPP), Noilsho Nouraliyev, a spokesman for a MoE, told Asia-Plus Monday afternoon.
The appeal, in particular, says that employees of the education sector of the country intend to make their contribution to the construction of the Roghun HPP through purchasing shares in the plant. The appeal calls on all employees of the education sector not to stand aside from that initiative.
