DUSHANBE, April 30, 2010, Asia-Plus -- On Thursday April 29, Shukurjon Zuhurov, chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), met here with Pyotr Zverev, Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC).
According to the Majlisi Namoyandagon press service, the sides discussed issues related to unification of laws and resolutions adopted by the EAEC member nations.
In the course of the talks, Zuhurov noted that Tajik parliament was always ready to support integration of the Community member states.
Zverev, for his part, briefed Zuhurv on the progress of preparations for the next session of the EAEC Parliamentary Assembly that would take place in Minsk, Belarus in December this year.
