DUSHANBE, August 5, 2010, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday August 4, Muhiddin Kabiri, leader of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRPT), met here with Mr. Michael Sanderson, director of the Center for Peace Studies (USA), according to the IRPT press service.
The sides discussed issues related to providing regional security, protecting society against radicalism, corruption and the spread of narcotic drugs.
Mr. Sanderson noted that the activity of the IRPT, which is the only Islamic party officially registered in Central Asia is one of key achievements of Tajik society on the path towards democratic society, the press service said.
