DUSHANBE, January 14, 2012, Asia-Plus – By prosecutor-general’s order Firdavs Urunov, formerly first deputy Sughd prosecutor, was named to be acting Sughd prosecutor, replacing Yusuf Ahmadov.
According to the Sughd prosecutor’s office, Yusuf Ahmadov was relieved of his post of Sughd chief prosecutor due to family circumstances.
Yusuf Ahmadov had served as the Sughd chief prosecutor since March 5, 2010. He had replaced Khairullo Saidov who had been appointed deputy prosecutor-general and main military prosecutor of the country.
