DUSHANBE, March 14, 2012, Asia-Plus -- On Tuesday March 13, Minister of Energy and Industries Gul Sherali met with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Amjad Hussain B. Sial, the press center of the Ministry of Energy and Industries (MoEI) reports.
The two reportedly discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan in the fields of energy and industry.
They, in particular, considered issues related to actions to improve upon investment conditions and implementation of projects for construction of hydropower plants and cement plants as well as establishment of cooperation in building materials production, light and food industries.
Gul Sherali and Amjad Hussain B. Sial also touched upon issues of expansion of cooperation for implementation of the Central Asia South Asia Electricity Trade and Transmission Project (CASA), the source said.
