DUSHANBE , August 1, 2012, Asia-Plus /Mehrangez Tursunzoda/ -- On July 23, President Emomali Rahmon signed decrees reshuffling a number of diplomats.
Ambassador Nouriddin Shamsov, formerly Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the OSCE and other International Organizations in Vienna, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to the United States, replacing Abdujabbor Shirinov.
Ismatullo Nasreddinov, who had previously served as head of the Foreign Ministry department for the countries of Europe and America, was appointed Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the OSCE and other International Organizations in Vienna.
Besides, by president’s decree signed on July 26 Tajik Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan, Ghulomjon Bobozoda, was also appointed Tajik Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Korea.
