Since July of this year, OJSC “Bank Eskhata” has been headed by a new director – a 37-year-old Akmaljon Saifidinov. “Asia-Plus” talked to him about his plans and how he is going to attract new customers.
He said that he plans to continue the course that has already been laid down in the approved development strategy of the bank for the period 2022-2026. It covers several areas.
One of them is the digitalization of business. The Bank plans to fulfill the tasks set by the country's top leadership and develop on the example of best practices of the financial sector.
Today, thanks to the support of the President of the country and the National Bank of Tajikistan, the domestic banking system is ready for such an important direction of the national economy as ensuring the development of non-cash turnover.
Another important aspect of the strategy is lending to all business entities to accelerate the development of the economy and ensure the welfare of the population.
"We are also trying to contribute to the implementation of the fourth national strategy - accelerated industrialization of the country by providing loans for the expansion and modernization of production lines and technologies. Our strategy also includes improving the quality of service through new business models of service," Akmaljon Saifiddinov explained.
He also added that the bank has moved from a "product-oriented" model to a "customer-oriented" one. It is planned to increase the customer base by providing convenient and modern services through a bank branch, the mobile application "Eskhata Online", a network of ATMs, POS terminals and self-service payment terminals, as well as a corporate website.
The new head of “Bank Eskhata” spoke about the advantages and features of the bank, which he considers the most significant for the banking sector in Tajikistan.
One of the advantages he called the recognition of the Bank as a backbone by the regulator, as well as a relatively long and successful stay in the domestic banking market.
"In 2024, “Bank Eskhata” will be 30 years old. Today we are among the three leading banks and provide a full range of financial services accepted in international practice. Our activities are evaluated by the International Rating Agency "Moody's Investors Service" at the B3 level," he added.
Also, an important aspect of successful activity is the availability of an effective corporate governance system, which undoubtedly serves as one of the important distinguishing features of the Bank in the market.
