DUSHANBE, January 19, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Current price for one square meter in residential buildings in Dushanbe fluctuates from US$350 to US$1,000, depending on location, Abduvali Komilov, the director of the Agency for Construction and Architecture under the Government of Tajikistan, announced at a news conference in Dushanbe today.
“In the center of the city, the price of one square meter in residential buildings runs up to US$1,000 and even more, while in the outskirts, the price of one square meter fluctuates from US$350 toUS$500,” Komilov said.
According to the Agency for Construction and Architecture, an overall space of 972, 600 square meters in residential buildings was made available last year, which is 171,900 square meters more than in 2009.
