KHUJAND, January 21, Asia-Plus – Compared to 2009 the Khujand-based limited liability company, Nikou-Khujand, which is one of the largest spinning mills in northern Tajikistan, increased production volumes 5.5 times last year, according to the Sughd energy and industries department.
The enterprise produces cotton thread and all its product is exported, the source said.
This year, a cotton-sock-producing factory will be introduced into operation in Zafarobod district and Nikou-Khujand will supply cotton thread to that factory.
137 people now work for Nikou-Khujand at an average monthly was of 305 somoni. .
