On Tuesday First Deputy Finance Minister of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Nuraliev met with a group of World Bank officials headed by the Director of the World Bank’s Economic Management Unit Ivona Cikata.
As reported by the Tajik Finance Ministry’s Secretariat, the sides shared views on the most urgent issues and discussed perspectives of cooperation in different spheres of activity.
The sides talked about recent visit of the Tajik Delegation headed by J.Nuraliev to Georgia and discussed Georgia’s experience in simplification of tax procedures and customs service.
Tajik Deputy Finance Minister pointed at a series of positive aspects in the Georgia’s state governance system and offered to use Georgia’s experience for reforming the Tajik tax procedures and for design of the final version of the Tax Code of Tajikistan.
