DUSHANBE, July 3, 2014, Asia-Plus -- A new brickworks using automated brick-making machines, Korvoni Asr, has been introduced into operation in the Hisor district.
Parviz Jabborov, the head of the New Technologies Department at the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan, says it is still the only of this kind brick-making enterprise in the country. “86 percent of works at this enterprise is carried out by the Chinese-made automated machines,” Jabborov said, noting that the automated machines have allowed increasing the enterprise capacity from 3 to 6 million bricks a year.
According to the statistic data from the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, Tajikistan last year produced 130 million bricks. Due to introducing new brick-making enterprises into operation, Tajikistan is expected to produce 140 million bricks this year.
