DUSHANBE, May 13, 2015, Asia-Plus – On Monday May 11, Mr. Sharif Said, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), met here with Mr. Omar Abdul Aziz Khan, Director of International Offices of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (United Arab Emirates), Mr. Sanan Nasibli, Head of Dubai Chamber representative Office in Azerbaijan, and Ms. Maryam Beshvari, food Product Specialist, the Dubai Municipality.

According to the CCI press center, the sides exchanged views on bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Dubai and export of Tajik agricultural goods to Dubai.

They also discussed issues related to organization of mutual economic exhibitions, fairs and business forums in order to promote expansion of business partnership and increase in mutual trade.

Mr. Omar Abdul Aziz Khan reportedly noted that UAE consumers were interested in importing high quality farm products from Tajikistan.

Established in 1965, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a private non-profit organization, whose stated purpose is to support the business community in Dubai and promote Dubai as an international business hub.  The Chamber created 27 business groups that are divided by industry, and 43 business councils that are divided by country.
