DUSHANBE, July 20, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Barqi Tojik (national integrated power company) tops the list of the most incurable tax defaulters in the country, according to the tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.

Current tax debts of Barqi Tojik reportedly amount to 184.9 million somoni.

In all, there are 49 companies and organizations on the list of the big tax defaulters in Tajikistan. 

The State Unitary Enterprise Aluminsokhtmon (15.6 million somoni), Open Join-Stock Company (OJSC) Resanda (12.7 million somoni), the water bottling plant Obi-Zulol (8.7 million somoni), OJSC Sangtudinskaya GES-1 (7.7 million somoni), and the industrial complex Vostokredmet (6.3 million somoni) are also listed among the big most incorrigible tax defaulters in Tajikistan.

Besides, Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Eurasia (4.1 million somoni) and JV Petroleum Sughd (3.1 million somoni) are listed among the big tax defaulters in the country.    

There are also mobile phone companies and Internet service providers on the list of tax defaulters: CJSC Babilon Mobile (2.7 million somoni); CJSC TK Mobile (273,400 somoni; Saturn Online (2.6 million somoni); and telecom Technology (more than 1 million somoni).

Tax debts of Dushanbe and Qurghon Teppa airports amount to 2.2 million somoni and 693,700 somoni respectively.

A total list of tax defaulters includes more than 500 companies and organizations whose tax debts exceed 200,000 somoni.
