Canadian company Tethys Petroleum filed the counter-claim in international arbitration court, with the help of which it plans to recover from the partners under Bokhtar project (Bokhtar operating company) 10,1 $million.
Posted on the Tethys Petroleum website massage says that the company's partners in Tajikistan - French company Total and Chinese national petroleum corporation (CNPC) initiated arbitration proceedings against Tethys company in the International court of arbitration.
In this regard, the report says, the company filed a counter-claim against their partners, demanding them to pay them $10.1 million
Note that on May 19 this year, Total and CNPC companies filed a lawsuit in the International court of arbitration on “Kulyab Petroleum Limited” (a subsidiary of Tethys Petroleum) company. In this lawsuit companies required to recover from Tajik "daughter" Tethys $9 million (plus costs in the proceedings) in connection with the failure of their financial obligations.
