Over the first ten months of this year, the external trade turnover of Tajikistan, including electrical power, has amounted to little more than 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, which was 92.2 percent of the January-October 2015 level or 275 million U.S. dollars fewer, according the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

The trade balance in January-October this year has been negative and amounted to 1.756 billion U.S. dollars.

Exports of goods over the report period have reportedly amounted to 744 million U.S. dollars, which was 1.1 percent or 7.7 million USD more than in the same period last year.

Over the same ten-month period, imports of goods into the country have amounted to about 2.5 billion U.S. dollars, which was 10.2 percent or 282 million USD less than in January-October, 2015.

Over the first ten months of this year, Tajikistan has had trade relations with 109 countries of the world, including ten CIS nations.

Over the report period, major trading partners of Tajikistan were: Russia – 868 million USD; China – 760 million USD; Kazakhstan – 520 million USD; etc.
