Fifty-three countries of the world have provided more than 44.8 million U.S. dollars’ worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first ten months of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
Over the first ten months of this year, among the donor countries the greatest share in value reportedly came from China – 27.9 percent; Russia – 21.3 percent; Serbia – 8.2 percent; India – 7.4 percent; Turkey – 4.4 percent; Belgium – 3.8 percent; Switzerland – 3.7 percent; the United States and Pakistan – 3.1 percent each; Kazakhstan – 2.8 percent; Germany – 2.2 percent; Denmark – 2.0 percent; South Korea – 1.5 percent; the Netherlands – 1.0 percent; Azerbaijan and France – 0.8 percent each; Thailand – 0.7 percent; Iran – 0.6 percent; and others.
Recall, forty-two countries of the world reportedly provided 45 million U.S. dollars’ worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in 2015.
