Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Russian Federation, Sergey Katyrin, has sent a letter to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin proposing to simplify the entry of labor migrants into the country during the coronavirus pandemic simplify, according to TASS.

Katyrin, in particular, proposes to allow highly qualified professionals to come to Russia with their families.

According to him, the CCI has received a large number of appeals from representatives of the business community with a request to facilitate the entry of foreign citizens into the Russian Federation under the current conditions of restrictions resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.  

CCI head also asks to regulate the entry of foreign citizens into the Russian Federation for employment.  

To ensure the entry of migrants CCI head proposes to establish the employer's guarantees for organizing the delivery of foreign workers to Russia, testing, providing 14 days of self-isolation if necessary, as well as providing medical care on the basis of a health insurance contract or a contract with a medical organization.
