More than 30 Tajik companies are participating in in the four-day international industrial exhibition, dubbed INNOPROM-203, which kicked off in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg on July 10 and will run through July 13.  

Members of the Tajik delegation participating in the event include the Minister of Industry and new Technologies Sherali Kabir, Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) Governor Alisher Mirzonabor, Sughd Governor Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and some others.  

The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (MoINT) has organized a thematic stand “Tajikistan Is the Country of Breakthrough Metals and Materials”, which presents products of more than 30 domestic companies.  

Among them are products of light and food industries, chemical industry, manufacturing engineering, building materials and non-ferrous metallurgy.  

Conference, panel session and some other events have taken place on the sidelines of the exhibition.

Thus, speaking at the session entitled “Industrial Cooperation of the SCO Member Nations in the Era of Global Challenges”, Tajik Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Nazar Aziz Savzali, in particular, noted that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member nations will develop a roadmap “of stimulation of industrial cooperation and will establish the Association of the SCO Member Nations’ Investors until 20230.”   

He further added that Tajikistanis creating conditions for development of investment climate and is ready to support the SCO member nations’ initiatives on mutually beneficial projects.  

The main theme of INNOPROM 2023 is "Sustainable Production: Strategies for Renewal".
