On the morning of October 31, President Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali put in commission in Dushanbe seven large industrial enterprises with more than 4000 jobs in anticipation of the 35th anniversary of state independence, within the framework of "Years of Industrial Development" and in order to implement the strategic goal of rapid industrialization of the country, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  .

At the beginning, they attended an official opening of the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Gulistoni Dushanbe after its modernization. 

The Tajik president’s official website says, “In the 9th month of 2023, the manufacture of products in 87 garment factories in Tajikistan increased by 5.5% compared to the same period last year, of which 21 factories are based in Dushanbe.”  

On the same day, Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali commissioned a textile enterprise Arvis LLC in Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district. 

The new enterprise, built on the basis of modern technology, is reportedly engaged in the production of cotton fabric and finished cotton products, such as various types of towels, bathrobes for all ages, and other products.

Arvis textile enterprise has a capacity to process 3 thousand 600 tons of cotton rope per year, to produce cotton products from them and to offer them to buyers with high quality and marketable design.  Currently, the new enterprise has reportedly launched the production of 500 types of textile products.  It was reported that modern textile devices from Belgium, Germany, Turkiye, Japan and Korea have been purchased and installed at the enterprise.  The opening of a new textile factory in Dushanbe has created 600 new jobs for local residents, most of whom are women.

Yesterday morning, the head of state and Dushanbe mayor inaugurated a new production enterprise Amiri Confectionery Factory in Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district.  The facility was built on an area of 5 hectares and is considered one of the largest confectionery production enterprises in the country.  The production capacity of Amiri Confectionery Factory is 27,000 tons per year.  A new factory for the production of confectionery products was built by the local businessman Akmal Hamidov.

Rahmon and Rustam Emomali yesterday also commissioned an oil production factory Fayzi Barakat LLC in Dushanbe’s Sino district.  Fayzi Barakat LLC with annual production capacity of 25,000 of oil was built on an area of 1 hectare by the domestic businessman Faizali Hojiyev. 

On October 31, the president and Dushanbe mayor attended an official opening ceremony of Imod electrical equipment manufacturing enterprise of Tojikgidroelektromontazh (Tajik Cabling, Electrical Mounting) LLC in Dushanbe’s Sino district.  The enterprise was built on the area of 7 hectares of land with a modern design and in accordance with international norms and standards.  The enterprise reportedly created 850 new jobs; 30 percent of the workers are women and housewives.  Most of the women here are engaged in technical work - installation of electrical equipment.  The newly established enterprise produces 36 types of products in 16 production lines, including the production of intelligent electric meters, complete plates of 0.4; 6 and 10 kV, complete transformer substations 6/10 and 20 kV, elevator, entrance iron door, electric and solar water heater, high-voltage overhead line base, highway barrier, automatic fire extinguishers, various iron bases for lighting alleys and avenues, double-edged iron beams and processing of various iron constructions.  The production capacity of the enterprise is to produce 300,000 intelligent electric meters per year, 10,000 complete low-voltage panels of 0.4, 6 and 10 kV, 600 complete transformer stations of 6 and 20 kV, 24,000 iron doors, 40,000 electric and solar water heaters, 50,000 tons of iron bases for high-voltage lines, 130,000 meters of road barriers, 500,000 automatic extinguishers, 10,000 iron bases for lighting, 12,000 tons of double-edged beams, and 20,000 tons of various iron constructions.  The company produces 500 elevators per year, and 40% of its packaging uses spare parts from domestic companies.

Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali yesterday also put in commission a pasta production enterprise Shahri Zeboi Mo LLC in Dushanbe’s Sino district.  In one shift, 14 types of pasta products under the name Lazoli are to be produced at the pasta production factory of Shahri Zeboi Mo LLC.  35 local residents are employed here.  The production capacity of the enterprise is 3 thousand tons per year.

There are nine pasta production factories operating in Dushanbe.
