Organized by the international organization PLUS Group with the support from the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Bank of Tajikistan, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, the Digital Tajikistan International Forum, dedicated to the current state and pressing issues of digitalization in retail financial services and Tajikistan’s retail industry, is taking place at the National Library of Tajikistan in Dushanbe on November 25.
More than 1,000 delegates have reportedly participated in the event, including top management and experts from fields such as fintech companies and startups, IT parks, accelerators, business angels, venture firms, IT companies, telecom, integrators, leading global experts in banking and payment industries, retail chains, e-commerce, wholesale companies, shopping centers, payment systems, research agencies, and consulting firms.
The forum’s program reportedly included discussions on critical aspects of developing Tajikistan’s modern digital society, AI, e-GOV, banking transformation, fintech, cybersecurity, retail trade, mass remote services, and their collaborative dialogue aimed at accelerating the digitalization of public services, the economy, and Tajikistan’s overall progress.
Special attention has been given to startups, regulatory sandboxes, and the integration of banks with telecoms.
